About Our Guest Curators

Deep Space Gallery is a hyperlocal gallery with an international presence. Founded in 2016, Deep Space Gallery is run by curators Jenna Geiger and Keith VanPelt. The gallery hosts solo and group exhibitions year-round, featuring the work of ultra-contemporary emerging and mid-career artists, both outsider and formally trained, based locally, nationally, and internationally.

Operating out of a two-level space on the industrial edge of Bergen Hill in Jersey City's Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood, Deep Space also works with small businesses in other parts of the city and beyond to expand the presence of art into non-traditional spaces. The gallery is committed to an art-for-all vision, integrating the language of visual art into daily life.

Deep Space has staged multi-artist immersive installations at Spring/Break Art Fair during NYC’s annual Armory Week and participated in FOUNDATIONS Winter 2024, hosted by the Artsy platform. The gallery was also invited to exhibit in PERSONAL STRUCTURES 2024: Beyond Boundaries during the 60th annual Venice Biennale. With a robust online presence, Deep Space cultivates a network without geographic limitations, fostering relationships through an inclusive and interconnective community ethos.
