We are excited to announce our latest juried call for artists. Selected artists will receive a custom-designed two-page spread in our publication (available in both print and digital formats), showcasing your artist biography, website, and two images of your artwork.

Since our inception, Create! Magazine has been dedicated to providing a meaningful platform for rising voices in contemporary art. To celebrate a decade of publishing, we are proud to announce our inaugural annual art prize. This initiative is designed to discover exceptional talent and offer professional opportunities that extend far beyond a single publication.
Categories for Submission
We invite artists to share their work in the following categories. Winners will be selected for each discipline.
- Painting and Two-Dimensional Media: Including painting, drawing, and printmaking.
- Photography and Digital Art: Including film, digital photography, and new media (excluding AI).
- Sculpture and Three-Dimensional Design: Including sculpture, ceramics, installation, and spatial works.
- Fiber and Textile Art: Including textile, weaving, embroidery, and soft sculpture.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is inclusion in the prize guaranteed?
The Create! Magazine Tenth Anniversary Art Prize is a juried opportunity. Selection for the print magazine, blog interviews, and cash prizes is determined solely by our jury. Submission does not guarantee inclusion in the print publication. Finalists and winners will be published on our blog and in future magazine issues throughout the 2026 and 2027 season.
Can I request a refund?
All entry fees are non-refundable. These fees are used immediately to cover the administration and jurying process.
What if I cannot afford the submission fee?
We are committed to making this opportunity accessible through a limited number of scholarships. To be considered, please email info@createmagazine.com with the subject line "Scholarship Application." Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Please include:
- An explanation of your current situation.
- A link to your professional website or online portfolio.
- A current CV.
- Links to your professional social media accounts.
- A link to a Dropbox or Google Drive folder containing 10 to 20 images of your best work.
- A brief note on what the Create! Magazine Prize will enable you to do in your career.
Legal Note of Intellectual Property:
Artists retain all copyrights to their work. By submitting, you grant Create! Magazine a non-exclusive license to use your images for promotional purposes related to the Art Prize, including social media, the website, and the print publication should you be selected as a winner.

Meet the Juror
Indira Cesarine is a multidisciplinary artist, visionary curator, and the founder of The Untitled Space art gallery in Tribeca, New York. Since launching her gallery in 2015, she has curated over 55 exhibitions and presented artwork by more than 550 artists. Through her curatorial practice, she champions underrepresented voices and fosters cultural dialogue around identity, feminism, equality, and social change.
She is also the founder of The Untitled Magazine and the nonprofit initiative Art4Equality. Cesarine frequently partners with charitable foundations, including The Watermill Center and the ERA Coalition, to raise funds and awareness through public art and exhibitions. Her highly regarded curatorial projects have been featured internationally in major publications such as Vogue, Forbes, New York Magazine, and Harper's Bazaar.

Submission Guidelines
- Eligibility: Open to all artists worldwide working in any medium except AI. Please submit only original works. No academic background is required.
- Submission Requirements: Submit up to 10 works, cohesive bodies of work and series encouraged, a 300-word bio, and a 300-word artist statement.
Our Mission and the Submission Fee
- Fee: $35 for 3 images
Create! Magazine is run by a dedicated, artist-led team. We prioritize a sustainable and professional arts ecosystem, which is why your submission fee is used to directly and fairly compensate our guest juror, writers, editors, and designers. These funds also cover the administrative and technical costs of hosting these open calls, storing submissions, website hosting, and more, enabling our platforms to keep running and supporting artists worldwide.
